It is difficult however to imagine how the Virginia Tech campers could protect themselves from a gun-wielding murderer.

Camp Mountain Run offers outdoor activitiesFriday August 28 2009By Josh Woods Staff WriterPENFIELD – There is no shortage of fun at Boy Scouts of America Bucktail Council's Camp Mountain Run. The camp offers hiking swimming boating fishing shooting sports climbing rappelling and camping. Primarily used as a Boy Scout camp CMR is open year-round to a variety of civic organizations. The camp's next event a Cub Scout overnight camp and Expo is slated for ctober. Bucktail Council Executive Randy Vargas said the event used as a recruitment tool is free for all new Cub Scouts.
