Hornaday riding three-race winning streak in NASCAR Truck Series

won his third NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race in a row at Kentucky Speedway on Saturday night. He also won the praise of NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver Mark Martin for helping him win the race at Chicagoland Speedway in Illinois two weeks ago. Ricky Carmichael has one more Truck Series race before he heads to Los Angeles for X Games 15 where he will compete in two events. Carmichael won a gold medal in best whip at last year's X-Games.

The former University of Wisconsin star is one of 23 players on the roster for the camp which is highlighted by an intrasquad game Saturday night at the Thomas & Mack Center on the campus of Nevada-Las Vegas. "In 2009 we will get a look at some of the top young NBA players who haven’t been involved in USA Basketball at the top national program previously" said Jerry Colangelo the chairman of USA Basketball. "This is their opportunity to be considered for the next generation of players who will make up the USA Basketball national program. " Harris finished second in the voting for the NBA’s most improved player behind Danny Granger of the Indiana Pacers who also was chosen for the minicamp roster. The men’s national team won the gold medal at the 2008 Summer lympics in Beijing.

So I figured it’d be just my friends and some other granolas out for a weekend of tree hugging and solitude and crapping under rocks. urs was the only camp with tents.
