Heidi And Spencer’s ‘Torture Chamber’ Looks More Like Luxury Camping

MG what a surprise! Unfortunately for them NBC forced the pair to endure a night in a labeled “torture chamber” near the camp. To you and me the word torture chamber might conjure images of a really horrible setting — but for Heidi and Spencer sleeping on sheets with a thread count of less than 1000 is probably enough to unnerve. Anyways after spending a night in “the dark room” — and only allowed beans rice and water (shocking!) — the duo have quit once more alleging that they were really tortured. According to the new shot above that looks to me like a cabin with an earthen floor.

June 7 Summer Camp News and Notes
Burnt range Nation
All snark aside the news from the weekend was a mixed bag — some good news some bad news. First with the bad news. The first summer camp was supposed to be a major opportunity to get several major recruits back to Austin to let them bond with the rest of the class. For Lache Seastrunk that never happened. With recent visits to Auburn leaving Seastrunk raving about the small town in Alabama the hopeful storyline was that Seastrunk would visit and be reminded why he has long had Texas high on his list. Right now it’s unclear why Seastrunk did not attend as expected but his absence speaks volumes about his current priorities.

Brooke Wells one of the organizers invited me to participate so I took her up on her offer. This is my experience. Wednesday May 27 – 7:30 p.

Homeless encampment returns to Seattle
Seattle Times
Some 47 residents packed up their belongings at Bryn Mawr United Methodist Church put them in rented moving vans and returned to the South Park-area site at Second Avenue Southwest and Highland Way Southwest. Their new encampment is on state Department of Transportation property only about 100 yards from the city of Seattle property where some members of the camp were arrested and cleared from the land in September. Founders of the encampment dubbed it Nickelsville to protest what they believe is a failure by Seattle Mayor Greg Nickels to ease the homeless problem. Attempts to contact a spokesman for the mayor for comment Sunday were unsuccessful.

Black Stars set for Kenya camp
Joy nline
The Black Stars secured an important win over Mali in Bamako on Sunday and want to make sure of their place in the mundial with another away win. Coach Milovan Rajevac is leaving no stones unturned in his quest to beat the Nile Crocodiles and he thinks camping in Kenya will help the cause. The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has approved plans for the camping base in the East African country to help them acclimatise before the mdurman clash. The Black Stars will all but seal their place in the 2010 World Cup in South Africa if they get a win against Sudan.

Bodine Again A Terror In Texas
TruckSeries.com
Bodine the Chemung N. racer who followed older brothers Geoffrey and Brett into NASCAR on Friday night won his fifth NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Texas Motor Speedway. And by taking the checkered flag in the Winstar World Casino 400 “The nion” broke a tie for most TMS Truck victories with Brendan Gaughan. Not bad for a driver who just a few weeks ago didn’t even know if he’d have enough sponsorship money to keep showing up at Truck races a deplorable series of affairs for a former series champion. But with Copart stepping up to sponsor the No. 30 Germain Racing Toyota Bodine got the support he needed to run up front again and it showed again at Texas where he led 52 of the final 69 laps to fend off Matt Crafton’s No.
