She is taking the lead in Duval and Nassau counties’ involvement in the inaugural Myron Rolle Wellness and Leadership Academy at Camp Blanding. Sponsored by the foundation formed by star FSU football player and Rhodes Scholar Myron Rolle the camp will host 100 foster children from around the state beginning Monday June 15. The camp will feature physical conditioning sporting events and inspirational speakers including Rudy Reuttiger of the movie “Rudy” fame. “I am bringing my mentee from the Florida Youth Leadership Academy who will be a ‘Super Mentor’ at the camp” Markman said.
