Sasquatch! post #8: camping
Seattle Times
I have a video from the band’s set and also of my favorite song from Mos Def’s performance. Both are entire songs which means fairly big files for a fairly weak internet connection but I’ll try and upload tomorrow. For now I’m beat lying down on the grass in a camp site. There is a lantern a cooler a canopy several tents. A lot of Sasquatch! campers seem to be doing the same thing: circling up reflecting on the day strategizing tomorrow’s band plan. Blogging in a semi-rural camping-out environment is either incongrous or the internet isn’t as high-tech as I think. ther people are doing it too: Check out.

Go Camping to Cut Vacation Costs
Wall Street Journal
“We are seeing a great interest in camping this year which is true in any year when the economy is not quite so great” says Linda L. Profaizer president and CE of the National Association of RV Parks & Campgrounds. There has been an increased interest in tent camping in particular; its affordability appeals to beginners she says. A camping trip is an “entry level” vacation says Mike Gast a spokesman for campground operator Kampgrounds of America or KA. That’s because it’s often an inexpensive getaway — especially if it doesn’t involve a long drive.
