That way the new season is firmly established and the owner’s points for guaranteed starting spots are now based on the current season. Then NASCAR should break up the top three series and run them at different tracks. The other problem is that the Camping World East and West series are not properly marketed; they are not on live TV or even tape delayed within the same week of their races. Here is the where the second part of my plan would address these issues. For the most part I would leave the first five cup races as they are Daytona California Las Vegas Atlanta and Bristol. However for the two west coast races I would pair the cup series with the Camping World west series. This way these series would get a lot more attention and the NASCAR fan base could start to build an emotional attachment to the next generation of NASCAR drivers.
