They’ve owned The Last Resort since 2003 and it became part of the KA system in 2008. The facility won the Founder’s Award during its first year as part of KA an achievement based on customer satisfaction surveys. The Port of Columbia leases the park and marina from the Corps of Engineers.

Let?s face it one of the unattractive features of holidays is the hanging around in airport departure lounges. So off to a great start. As we were camping plenty of sunshine is an obvious plus. Warm enough for my son Jake aged 13 to lounge around in his shorts but not hot enough for my very English husband James to remove his T-shirt. It would have to be extra specially scorching for that. As a family we find just living in the fresh air totally invigorating and it gives you the most marvellous appetite to enjoy all the gorgeous culinary pleasures this wonderful Gallic culture has to offer.
