Paddle boats are rented in the summer for $10 an hour. Camping: Lots with 23 RV camping sites with water and electrical hookups and 14 tent sites available on a reserved basis. Self-contained campers may park on the perimeter of the West Shore parking lots. There are no dump stations at the lake. No showers available. No wood fires or open-flame fires.

Compared with the now well-worn Kokoda Track this is pristine territory. The trails which are no more than goat tracks at best are not as steep as those on the Kokoda but present creek and river crossings and other challenges. Two of the four nights on the trek are spent camping in jungle clearings two in Mondrabet with local villagers. To prepare for it Gosling takes his primarily southern Queensland-based customers on conditioning hikes around Mt Barney and he requires a good standard of fitness. "You’ve got to be fit" he says. "If you’re well overweight don’t bother. The trails we use are a lot more natural than the Kokoda so you have more of a feeling of being in the jungle.

Cynthia Greene who filmed the press conference for the Community Alliancenewspaper asked the mayor "are the homeless people that don?t want tomove into Tool Sheds going to be forced to move into them?" Greene ishomeless and lives on The Hill which is a homeless encampment that the CityManager?s office has identified as the first target of a "clean up"after the Tool Shed City is established. Autry said "nobody is going to beforced to do anything except obey the law. The mayor said "we will address homelessness in a very compassionateand effective way.
