Coaches adapting to new fall practice rules
ESPN – Nov 20, 2007
“In the past we’ve gone only about 13 days in the fall and used the entire month of January as spring training. The weather here is probably better than it is in the summer. And there’s no school that month so we’re on the field for two-a-day practices and we’re having sandwiches for lunch and team movie night and we go camping. I mean it’s just all baseball all month and it has been a very integral part of what we do. “We really rely on great team chemistry here and a lot of attention to details and attention to fundamentals and this fall has been extremely different. It’s been difficult to do that. We’re almost in a six-week program.

BJP cries betrayal
Times of India – Nov 20, 2007
We are ready to go to the people and face elections” hesaid. The fact that Singh asked BJP’s chief minister B S Yeddyurappa toresign only after making his speech on the floor of the assembly was also inkeeping with the idea of making an appeal to the people and declaring how theBJP’s intent of forming government was sabotaged by its coalition partner whohad been given a “magnanimous” chance to lead the government for the first 20months in accordance with the coalition dharma. Senior party leaderYashwant Sinha in-charge of the state is camping in Bangalore. “It was not ourinitiative. It was JD(S) who came to us to form the government” he said makingit clear that the blame for non-formation of the government and forcing an earlyelection rested on the JD(S). Singh also termed the developments in Karnataka asthe worst form of coalition politics.
