Until further notice Riverside County has opened the Lake Skinner Recreation Area at 37701 Warren Road as an evacuation site making the campground’s 300 developed spaces available to individuals forced from their homes in neighboring range and San Diego counties. “Lake Skinner offers a safer environment. ” Sixty-four families were staying at the facility as of Thursday morning a number of them evacuees said recreation area spokeswoman Delores Canale. “We had a couple from Rainbow check in Thursday” Canale said. “A man from Valley Center renewed for another night’s stay.
