NA members have started travelling to Kokopo over the weekend and yesterday. Prime Minister Sir Michael Somare will be leaving today. Uluiviti hopes to share Korea experience with colleagues

“We underwent activities like rafting dancing and also learnt Korean traditions and other activities” Ms Uluiviti said. “For me it was an eye opener because it was the first time I had been to that country which involved an 11-hour flight from Fiji with stop over in the other countries. “When we reached Korea our leaders took us to the camp site. The camp aimed to provide Girl Scouts and Guides with opportunities to explore their potential through many challenging and adventurous activities promote cooperation and teamwork through camping life and understanding the traditional culture and nature. It also helped them share international friendship and understanding and to foster world citizenship through exchanges with other members. The Natewa Bay lass said each participant presented their traditional song or dance and wore their traditional attire. School Girl Guides teacher Elena Rabelawa said Ms Uluiviti was the first to be selected from the school.
